Western Australia DAMA

western australia dama

The Western Australian Government has finalized a Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) with the Commonwealth Government, marking the fifth such agreement in the region. DAMAs are tailored to address specific labour shortages within designated areas.

The WA DAMA encompasses the entire state and provides eligible businesses in Western Australia with three skilled pathways—Subclass 482, Subclass 494, and Subclass 186—to supplement their workforce when suitable Australian candidates cannot be found.

To qualify for endorsement under the WA DAMA, businesses must meet specific eligibility criteria and agree to endorsed conditions. This agreement offers concessions within Commonwealth Migration Legislation requirements for sponsoring skilled migrants and processing visa applications.

Employers based in Western Australia seeking to sponsor employees to fulfil workforce requirements are encouraged to consult with our experienced Registered Migration Agents today to determine their eligibility.
