Migration Skills Assessment and Migration Points Advice delays

The Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) and Migration Points Advice (MPA) programs administered by TRA are presently encountering a substantial surge in application rates. Consequently, processing times have been impacted, with assessments extending beyond the usual 120-day timeframe.

TRA has advised that requests for expediting applications may not able to be accommodated  heightened demand.

Job Ready Program delays

There are also extended processing times for the Job Ready Program due to a high volume of applications. Current processing times, as of February 2024, from the online submission date are as follows:

• Job Ready Employment Application: 7 months

• Job Ready Workplace Assessment: 5 months

• Job Ready Final Assessment: 1.5 months

• General document processing: 2.5 months
