Subclass 482 Visa - what occupations are employers sponsoring?

The Subclass 482 visa is the temporary employer-sponsored visa program that allows employers to sponsor employees in certain occupations where the skills are not available locally.

With Australia experiencing very low unemployment and many industries experiencing significant skill shortages, employers are utilising available visa programs to meet these shortages.

From 1 July 2022 through to 31st December 2022, the top 15 nominated occupations for primary applications under the 482 visa program were:

• Accountant (General)
