Migration Queensland Program opening for 2023-2024
Migration Queensland opened its state nomination skilled migration program on 5 September 2023.
Key aspects of the program include:
- Applicants in Australia applying for Subclass 190 Nomination must provide evidence that they have been living in Queensland undertaking full-time post-qualification employment in the nominated or closely related to the occupation for three months immediately before EOI lodgement and provide evidence they have ongoing full-time employment in the occupation for a further twelve months at the time of EOI lodgement.
-Applicants applying for a Subclass 190 Nomination must have points test result of 75 or higher, or if a trade occupation, 70 or higher.
There are additional pathways for graduates who have completed their studies in Queensland. Applicants must have graduated in the last two years.
