How are Australian visas issued once approved: Electronic or Physical?
Once an Australian visa application is approved, the approval notification will either be issued by email or post.
This means that the visa holder will receive a visa grant notification via email or letter, which includes their visa grant number, visa subclass, and conditions of their visa. The visa holder can then check their visa details online using the Department of Home Affairs Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) system.
Your visa and passport details are electronically recorded so airline staff can electronically confirm that you have the authority to travel to Australia.
If you change your passport it is important to ensure this is updated prior to travelling to and from Australia to avoid any issues or delays.
It's important to note that the visa holder is responsible for complying with the conditions of their visa. If they breach any of the conditions, their visa may be cancelled and they may be required to leave Australia. Therefore, it's important to understand the conditions of the visa and to seek advice if there is any uncertainty about what is required.
