Fee increase reminder for the Department of Home Affairs

Take note that the Department of Home Affairs plans to raise most visa application fees for submissions made starting July 1, 2023.

The government has signalled an overall rise in visa fees by 6%.

Beyond this increment, there will be additional increases for certain visa categories:

Business innovation and investment visas will see a hike of 40%.

Visitor, working holiday, work and holiday, training, temporary activity, and temporary work (short stay specialist) visas will rise by 15%.

However, the Pacific Engagement Visa and Pacific Australia Labour Mobility visas will not be subjected to these increases.
