Australia-India Trade Agreement to commence
The Australia-India Economic Cooperation Trade Agreement (AIECTA) is due to commence on 29 December, once both countries complete the necessary steps to bring the agreement into operation.
The Agreement will provide:
1000 places for Subclass 462 Work and Holiday Visa for Indian citizens aged between 18-31.
Indian students graduating with First Class Honours bachelor's degrees in STEM fields (including ICT) will be eligible for a 3-year post-study visa.
